Dalan Hargrave Mr Hargrave has been a career goldsmith and lapidary since 1976. As of 2010 he has received 37 awards of recognition for both lapidary and jewelry from prestigious organizations such as the American Gem Trade Association, The Gemmys, sponsored by Lapidary Journal, and the National Rockhound/Lapidary Hall of Fame. Current projects include books, private lessons and instructional videos in order to Pass the Torch to the next generation of Lapidary and Jewelry Artists.
Artist statement: It’s my goal to take the natural beauty of each gemstone and through artistic expression and innovative optical techniques, transform it into a work of art.
